I love to paint wildlife and especially birds. This is an original acrylic painting of two chickadees on a branch with crabapples done on a wood hardbord. We have a radiant crabapple tree and I used its branch for this scene. The tiny crabapples stay on the tree throughout the winter and any birds in the area love to feast on them. The models for the birds were from my own photographs as well. They bring a little joy to the winter months.
