Description
This is a common sight in our Amish communities in the fall. They make tent-like shapes with their corn by tying them in bundles or shocks to let them dry. When dry they load them on wagons and take them to the farm to shuck by hand or machine to get the corn off. Ears are then moved for drying to a corncrib. This is a part of our Americana and tradition on their farms. Corn Shocks in Autumn.
