Painting - Acrylic On Hardboard With Modeling Paste
Description
This painting depicts a trail to the fields that was seldom used and had become overgrown with weeds and wildflowers. It was lit in the fall by the morning sun, and I thought it had a lot of interest there. I used modeling paste over hardboard, then acrylics. Some gold leaf paint was also used under it.

I really like this one with the modeling paste texture underneath. It really adds to the whole feel of the place, along with the great use of color and pattern too!

Dear Linda, , your entries each address the importance of the contest theme triad. If you have time, please consider entering the behind the scenes dialogue. I love the deeper dive and apparently many fellow artists are also beginning to enjoy the BUZzzz..:-)...your well composed organic palette and balanced approach to design and composition are SO influenced by your innate understanding of this relationship. ...I am eagerly hoping to hear...
