This is an acrylic painting on hardboard of the quaint lighthouse, Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, also known as Peggy's Point Lighthouse. It is located in the village of Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia, Canada. It was built in 1915 and faces he Atlantic Ocean on its rocky shoreline. They think it is the most photographed lighthouse in Canada. My daughter was there this fall right after Hurricane Fiona had passed by the area. This rendering is from her photos that I loved with the churning clouds and boulders with the bright lighthouse on top. I knew I had to paint the scene. Peggy's Cove Lighthouse.
