This is an acrylic and watercolor painting that was done on watercolor board. It is hand painted from a photo of mine of a Great Horned Owl at a rescue center. Great horned owls are seen in North and South America and are large with a 44-inch wingspan. They are efficient hunters and are aggressive and the most dangerous of owls. We often hear them at night in a woods near us with his hoot call since they like to hunt from dusk into the night. They are an impressive and beautiful bird of prey. I loved his eyes as he took me in that day. Who's That?
