My sister recently returned from a trip to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and I fell in love with her photos of Artist Point that so many painters have done over the years. It is considered one of the best overlooks on the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. I had to try my hand at it, also, The painting has texture created from the many layers of paint and using a painting knife. I love the mountains and was thrilled to do this one. Yellowstone Treasures.
